Things That make me say Yayyy!! My new abaya, Makeup and Fried Tilapia

Salam Friends, Hope you guys are all having a blessed weekend with your friends and family.
I sure am Alhamdulliah.. This week these are things that are making me say Yayyy!!
Here's what were doing right now, having tea!!

I started the weekend with cooking this yummy Fried Tilapia With brown rice for lunch..
It turned out so yummy the fish was so perfect and crispy, and the Brown Rice and Creamy Chutney made a great combination...
Must I say, especially with squeezed lemon..hmmmm
While that was preparing my sister came over and we had this
Lays with French onion dip..
You can get the recipe for the rice Here
and  for the Mint Putina Chutney Here
Heres the recipe for the fish

prep time 20 min
cook time 20 min
Servings 4

4-6 pieces tilapia fish cut in half
1 lemon squeezed or 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon garlic
1/2 cup sour cream, or yogurt
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon tikka masala (shan or tandoori, or even paste)
1 teaspoon paprika pepper

For the flour mixture:
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

In a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients with the fish and mix together..
let sit aside for about 10-15 min

Meanwhile prepare the chutney you can use tomato in the chutney, which is optional..

Then in a large mixing bowl add your flour, salt, and pepper mix it up good..

Now heat your oil in a large frying pan, then add the pieces into the flour individually, mixing them well, so they get all covered in the flour. Once the oil is ready (make sure its not too hot)
Fry the pieces on each side for just about 2-3 min.
I usually turn them using a fork, or a knife, so they don't break because tilapia seems to be really soft.
Once they have turned light brown on each side, and are fully cooked then drain on a paper towl, to absorb access oil.
(This recipe can also be baked)
Preheat your oven to 350 and grease a pan slightly with oil, and add your fish just like you would for frying. Bake on middle rack for about 30-35 min.

Serve hot and Crispy

This is what me and my boys had for Dessert

Meanwhile during the week there's been so much going on, Once the kids go to school there's so much I want to do, with such limited time.. so within that time, I blog, Sew, Cook, Bake and try to get the house cleaned up... (the house that my boys completely turn upside down)

I should work out more often!!!

One of the other things that make me say Yayyy, is my Lorea'l Day and Night Cream.
This is my second bottle. It lasts you a pretty long time, and works wonders for dry skin.
I have really dry skin so I love the way this works into my skin.
It nourishes skin with a Nutrient Complex enriched with calcium that builds resilience and fights the signs of aging. And its soft and silky texture wraps your skin in pure luxury..
giving you that perfect moisturized nourished skin..

I apply this once at night before I go to sleep, and once in the morning after I wash my face.
This cost me 17.99 and I usually buy it at Rite Aid.
For ladies 25 and over, you guys should definitely give this a try..

I hope you all have enjoyed my post for today.
It was so nice having you here.
I would love to hear your guys comments and suggestions so please go ahead and leave them in the comment section.
