Cheesy Homemade Chicken Lasagna, Makeup and My Abaya of the week

Hi guys I have to share my Homemade lasagna recipe with all of you.. It is so Ooeey Gooeey Cheesy and Delicious.. I think the secret to mouthwatering lasagna are the noodles. I like to boil the noodles until they are so soft, light and fluffy. That gives you that extremely soft taste where you can taste all the flavors of the Sauce, and the Cheese..

I like to use a lot of chesse. I use Mozzarella and Cheddar with Ricotta Cheese, to give it that extra bold taste.
So heres the quick and recipe. Believe me you will have some happy faces on the dinner table tonight

I made mine for lunch

My kids were crazy after it.

I like my food hot.. So it was pipeing hot out of the oven..

I made brown rice Pulao to go along with it.

and a fresh Salad, croutons, carrots and  with chili peppers,

Oh and lets not forget Diet Soda (love my fizzy drink) even though its not good for me.

Recipe

Ingredients
Serves 6-8
Prep time 1 hour
cook time 30-40 min

1 box 2 pounds (32 ounces) of lasagna noodles
1 lb beef or Chicken mince or diced
1 onion
2 medium tomatoes
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 green pepper
1 tablespoon paprika powder
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon crushed cumin
1/4 cup of oil to cook

For the Sauce
I used the ready made Sauce in the cans (Hunts)
If you would like the recipe for homemade Sauce click HERE

Toppings ( you can use any of your choice)
1 bag about 4-6 cups of graded cheese mozzarella, cheddar
1 cup of Ricotta Cheese
1 cup of Mushrooms

Method
Boil the Lasagna Noodle according to package.
Make sure you boil them about 15 minutes more than the time asked for on the package.
Once there boiled, drain and leave to aside. I usually leave them soaked in cold water, so they don't stick to each other

For The Chicken mixture
Add your oil in a pan once hot add onions, once onions are very light yellow add tomatoes, peppers, garlic, salt and pepper.
Let that cook covered on high flame for about 15-20 minutes
Once the chicken Releases oil, and is well cooked add one cup of water and simmer
Then add cumin and remove from heat

Cut the Toppings of your choice and assemble your lasagna

Start by putting your noodles at the bottom, then sauce, cheese, and chicken, and work your way up to half of the pan,
Once your to half of the pan, add your ricotta cheese, spreading evenly using a spoon.
Then repeat process.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 in a preheated oven for about 30-40 min.
After 15 min remove foil, If you like your lasagna overly cooked, Put it under the broiler for about 5 minutes.
Enjoy with the sides of your choice..

My mom got these roses, and I loved the color,   they smelled so beautiful and just looking at them, Its like I never wanted it to Die..

“Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature's laws wrong, it learned to walk without having feet. Funny, it seems to by keeping it's dreams; it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else even cared.”
