These spicy chicken fillets are to die for!! There so juicy and moist, baked with the perfect spicy marinate, and bread crumb mixture...
You can have them as a main meal, with sides of potatoes veggies or mashed potatoes..Or you can eat them in Sandwiches, and burgers like THIS..
I make these fillets about every once a week, because my boys love them, and their good for them, because you hardly have to use any oil, you can just spray your Pyrex dish with Pam, or any baking spray of your choice...
This yummy meal would definetly be a delight for your family or loved ones..
My sister also likes to use the leftovers for a quick salad.. She just dices the chicken fillets into strips, or cubes, and tosses them in with her green salad, and favorite dressing, believe me it tastes so good that way.. and would also taste splendid with this Salad...
Prep time 20 minutes
Marinate atleast 30 minutes
Cook time about 20 minutes
Oven temp 350
2-3 large chicken breast sliced into thin fillet strips washed and dried
2 green chillis
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 cup of yogurt
juice of half a lemon or 2-3 tbs of lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin
1 table spoon tandoori masala
2 tablespoons oil (optional)
For the bread crumb mixture you will need
2 cups of bread crumbs
pinch of salt
pinch of red pepper
add all of the ingredients except the bread crumbs into a blender or food processor and blend on high for about 1 minute
apply mixture to your chicken fillets and let marinate covered for alteast 30 minutes,
because the more you marinate, the more juicier chicken you get
In a seperate mixing bowl, add your bread crumbs, salt and pepper.
Mix together, and dip each piece of chicken in the mixture from front to back one at a time.
While you are applying the bread crumbs preheat your oven to 350 and lightly grease a baking pan
Place each piece individually on the baking sheet or pyrex dish
and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes on each side, until you stick a fork into the middle and see that the chicken is nice and tender..
Remove from baking pan, and place them into your serving dishes or a hotpot warmer, to keep them warm for later...
Last but not least,,,, Enjoy with your loved ones, Thank You so much for stopping by, and please keep me and my family in your prayers.. Until next time Naz...
