GOD BLESS <3 <3

So to Celebrate I'm sharing a very special recipe for my  Moist and Juicy Whole Tandoori Chicken
I really wasn't a big fan of whole chickens, id rather have chicken tikka, made in the oven, or Fried Chicken Until one day my husband absolutely pushed me to Bake it for him, and I did on his birthday but it came out so fingerlicking good!! So juicy and moist... I Served it with Fluffy Mashed Potatoes Sauted Veggies, and Gravy, ( which were out of this world) So from then on, this has been one of my family's favorite recipe.. Plus its super easy to make. It all depends on the Marinate timing, I usually like to Marinate it early in the morning or even overnight which is best! So go ahead and give it a try I'm sure you'll love it..  and If you have any questions, Just ask!!!

Prep time 15 minutes
Marinate timing 4-6 hours or Overnight which works best..
Oven 350
Servings One whole chicken 2-4
Recipe source Naz's kitchen Fiesta

Ingredients:
1 whole Chicken Washed inside and out
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1-2 Tablespoons Tandoori Masala
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoons crushed cumin powder
1 cup full fat yogurt

1 cup Vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
a big bowl to marinate the chicken

First use a cooking string or any kind that will tie the legs of the chicken together. Then add cuts going straight down in the Breast and prick it all over the legs.. Then In a large marinating bowl add your  chicken, Vinegar, salt and sugar. Fill the bowl with water and let the chicken sit in it for about 10 minutes..
( This is the secret to make the chicken moist, and juicy.. If you don't have vinegar use lemon juice)

Now remove the chicken and wash it removing all of the vinegar salt and sugar.. Then pat dry your chicken making sure there is no trace of water.

Make a paste using your yogurt, salt, pepper, tandoori masala, oil, ginger garlic paste, and crushed cumin powder. Using your clean hands start rubbing the mixture all over the chicken making sure it goes through all the cuts.

Place in your refrigerator to marinate for atleast 4-6 hours

Preheat your oven to 350. Add a couple of spoons of cooking oil to grease the pan. Gently place your chicken in your pyrex dish, or baking dish and place in your oven

Cook for about 45 minutes to 1 hour making sure you check on it, every 20 minutes or so..

Stick a fork through the middle of the chicken to see if your chicken is soft, and moist, at this time you can even place it under your broiler for a few minutes to make it nice and red..

Don't worry if there is any access gravy just drain it to the side, and use it to make Delicious homemade gravy like I  did...

Serve immediately and enjoy with your loved ones...

For the homemade Gravy:
Ingredients
Drippings leftover gravy of the chicken usually about 1 cup
1/2 cup flour whole wheat, or plain white flour
pinch of salt If needed
oil

Method
In a frying pan add your flour in about 1 teaspoon of oil and mix until it starts changing color, Then immediately add your drippngs with one more cup of water. Simmer and Serve immediately...
"youll never use packaged store bought gravy again" :)
