Crispy Veggie Potato Pakoras Perfect for Ramadan

Salam Friends with Ramadan Right around the corner Inshallah,  I'm sure everyones planning on what to cook, asides from lots of Ibadat, Namaz, and Sadqa.. May Allah Give us all the Taufeeq  and Himmat Inshallah..
So I'm putting together lots of recipes to share with all of my wonderful friends, and viewers.

Today Im sharing with you all my Crispy Veggie Potato Pakoras that are Perfect for Ramadan. Normally I like to use Besan flour in my pakoras but for this individual recipe I use whole wheat flour, and Corn flour (makkai ka atta) That's what gives it the most crispiest crunchiest taste Ever!!!!

You guys have to give this one a try, I'm sure it will become a family favorite, Go ahead and use any veggies of your choice, I only used the ones I had in my veggie basket..

Oh and did I forget to add that they taste Phenomenally Devin with Raita Chutney/Yogurt..

I'm always even tempted to make a Pakora Sandwich or burger out of them as well...:))))))

Prep time 15 minutes
Cook time 6-8 minutes per batch
Recipe source Naz's Kitchen Fiesta
Serves 4-6

3 medium potatoes
3 tomatoes
1 large onion
1 large or 2 medium peppers
a bunch of cilantro
1 teaspoon salt or according to taste
1 tablespoon paprika powder
1 tablespoon crushed coriander
1 teaspoon chaat masala (optional) for that extra zing
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup corn flour (yellow Makkai ka Atta)
water for mixing about 1 cup
Oil for frying

In a large mixing bowl wash and cut all your veggies, I usually like to slice the onions length wise.
for that crunchy effect..

Slice your onions for that very crunchy effect...

Now add all the rest of the ingredients salt, pepper, coriander, chaat masala, corn flour, wheat flour.
Mix with a clean hand, or use a spoon. Gently start pouring in the water, if you think the paste is too thick add a tablespoon at a time, until you get a good mixture, not too thin, and not too thick..
Heat your oil in a non stick frying pan, put in one pakora and see if it slowly comes to the top of the frying pan, if it does!! then your oil is ready.. Gently dip a spoon in running water and then use it to put about a tablespoon of the mixture in the oil one at a time.... Fry on both sides for about 4-6 minutes or more, until they turn nice and crispy brown... Remove from oil and place on a paper towel to absorb access oil..
