Refreshing Salad With a Splash of Olive Oil

Vegetables play a vital role in our diets, as they support the normal functioning of the different body systems. They do so by providing our cells with vitamins, minerals, fiber, essential oils and phytonutrients. While eating cooked vegetables is healthy for you, in certain instances it is advantageous to eat raw vegetables. This is because cooking destroys essential nutrients such as vitamin C and also kills vital enzymes that help your body to digest such foods.

I love to Indulge in This Refreshing Salad, when I feel guilty about my weight...Eating the raw veggies makes me feel so good, and energetic because like I said above, their are so many good health benefits to this..
"This is a quick and easy throw-together salad that is super Easy, and so Delicious Plus a great way to use up some of your fresh garden veggies. Very refreshing! Increase or decrease the amount of olive oil, salt and pepper...Add as many vegetables as you desire..

Prep time 15 minutes
Recipe Naz's Kitchen Fiesta
Ingredients: Servings for 2

1 large capsicum bell pepper
2 tomatoes
2 cups of cabbage
2 cups iceberg lettuce
1 medium Red onion
1 large Cucumber (optional)
pinch of salt, and pepper
1-2 tablespoons of olive oil

Method: Instructions
In a large mixing bowl add all of your fresh Crisp, and Raw Veggies.. Sprinkle with salt, and black pepper and pour 1-2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil all over the salad... Toss well, Refrigerate up to 1 hour before serving and Enjoy...You're Refreshing Salad...

  2. very nice share.. In fact Naz i am trying to loose some of my pounds that i have put on while studying by just sitting on one place for hours :D i guess will try your salad recipe. i have heard with Cabbage soup and salads you can loose 4 to 5 pounds in a week. :) Thanks for sharing ;)
