The type of Chinese Rice I make personally is so Fluffy, Warm, tasty and Quick... This Is a perfect meal for dinner I usually fix up about once a week for the family.. "plus my kids love it because its not too spicy like regular pilau or Biryani or my Beef and Egg Fried Rice" and they get their grains, from the rice, their protein from the beef, and egg. plus all the veggies too...
When I'm in a big hurry with my 3 hungry boys, I soak the rice. Put one pot for the boiled rice on one burner, and one pan on the other side for the beef, and veggies, once the rice is done and boiled I just add it to the cooked veggies, and put it on very low flame for about 10 minutes and you have a warm incredibly delicious meal in not time..

For the Rice 4 cups of Basmati White Rice (presoaked 15 minutes prior to boiling)
2 tablespoons salt
2 table spoons Chinese salt (must have to achieve that perfect Chinese Taste)
1 teaspoon oil
8 cups of water
Method for the Rice:
In a large vessel or pot add your 8 cups of water salt, Chinese salt, and oil cover and let come to a boil.
Once water has boiled add rice and cook until the rice has cooked only until half way done, usually for about 10-15 minutes. Strain in a strainer and put to aside.
Ingredients for the Beef Veggie and Egg Mixture:
1 pound lean ground beef
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 tablespoon Chinese salt
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup soy sauce
2 capsicum peppers
1 cups of peas
1 cup of cabbage (optional)
1/4 cup of cooking oil
2 eggs (pinch of turmeric, pinch of salt, pinch of red pepper)
In a large wok or cooking pan add oil then add beef black pepper, salt, Chinese salt, and garlic paste.
Fry the beef and cook for about 10-12 minutes.
Add in your capsicum peppers, carrots, peas and cabbage cook for another 6-8 minutes.
add your soy sauce and stir fry for a couple of minutes. (you can add a cup or two of water if desired to make a thin curry if desired)
Push the beef, and veggies to a side, and crack your eggs into the wok, fry adding a pinch of salt, turmeric, and pepper for about 2 minutes. Now stir together with the veggies, add in your rice, Mix and put on Dum(very low heat) for about 15 minutes..
Enjoy with your favorite type of sauces.. Serve Warm, and hot
