Vanilla and Chocolate Marble Cake


This Recipe Calls for just a few simple Ingredients.. and is definitely a crowd pleaser.. The Marble cake turns out Tall, Moist, and fluffy every time I  bake it for the kids.. This yummy  Marble Cake is a combination of vanilla and chocolate batters that are swirled together just before baking to give  it that wonderful marbled effect. Its so fun and easy to bake.. "My favorite part is cutting the chocolate threw the batter to make the swirls of marble".

Cook time 30 minutes
Prep time 30 minutes
oven 350 / Cool 1 hour

Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/3 cup cocoa powder, nutella or chocolate syrup
nuts, almonds optional

Method:
1. Grease a 13-9" inch baking pan.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon salt put to aside.
3.In a mixing bowl beat butter for 30 seconds. Add sugar and vanilla, and beat until fluffy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after every addition, just till combined
5. Add dry mixture and milk alternately to beaten mixture.
6. Transfer 1 1/2 cups of the batter to another bowl, stir in Cocoa Powder, (You can use Nutella or any kind of Chocolate syrup ).
7. Pour light batter into the prepared pan. Spoon Chocolate batter atop. Gently cut through the batter to marble the cake.
Bake in a 350 oven for 30 35 minutes. or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean.
Place Cake in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Cool thoroughly.
You can drizzle  the cake with chocolate glaze, or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
I wanted to make it simple for my boys, so I topped the cake with almonds when it was almost half way done:)
Naz's Notes: Please make sure you have the correct baking cups, spoons, utencils in order to achieve perfect results..
Preheat your oven about 15 minutes prior to baking the cake.
