Copycat KFC Coleslaw Quick and Easy

Coleslaw, a quick fix salad made out of fresh cabbage and Carrots. to go with your favorite meals, As a kickin side dish. I know many of you have propably tasted the coleslaw at KFC, It is absolutely DELISH.... So creamy, sweet, tangy with a great Crunch every time you take a bite.
This Tangy Coleslaw takes no long preparation... and is made in just minutes.. Great for the whole family.. Definitely a crowd pleaser... Your kids will even love it... Mines do I served it with chicken, and potato pilau..


Naz's Notes: The secret to the coleslaw is the chilling time.. Make sure you make this about 4-6 hours before serving for excellent results. You can even make it the day before..

Serves: 8

Preparation Time: 10 min
       
Refrigerate: 8 hours

       Ingredients
 
  
8 cups of cabbage
2 cups carrots shredded   
1 tablespoon onion chopped fine
1/2 cup of mayonaise
3/4 cup of buttermilk
1/8 cup of milk
2 tablespoons lemon juice or vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
 1/8 teaspoon pepper
 1/3 cup granulated sugar
 
 
  
  
 
       Instructions method:
  1. Core the cabbage, then shred using the fine disk for the shredder attachment to the food processor.
     
  2. Shred the carrot the same way.
     
  3. Mix together cabbage, carrot and onion.
  4. In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, mayonnaise, milk, and lemon juice with a whisk until well combined.
     
  5. Add the salt and pepper.
     
  6. Add the sugar to the sauce until well mixed in.
     
  7. Add the sauce to the cabbage and carrot mixture and mix well and allow the mixture to marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours or overnight. 

Serve Cold and chilled
 For all the Savvy Mom's out there? You'll never want to go out again, You can make triple the amount of coleslaw for not even half the amount of the money you would spend in KFC..
