Cake Homemade Chocolate Topping

I finally got a new oven that I have been wanting for months. So I decided to make something sweet, and special something  the kids would also like.
I made a basic yellow cake made from scratch topped with Hershey's chocolate syrup.
The whole family was going crazy after it.
Here is the quick recipe hope you'll enjoy for your loved ones...

Ingredients: Makes two 9 inch square cakes
Prep time 25 min
Cook time 25-30 min

3 large eggs room temp
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup milk
2 cups all purpose flour 
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup sugar
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 F grease and flour 2 9 inch pans
In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, with a wire whisk
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy 
Beat in eggs one at a time
Add vanilla and mix until completely combines
slowly add flour alternately with milk
At the end the batter should be nice and smooth
Divide between 2 pans
Bake the cake for 20- 25 min until cake becomes nice and light yellow brown
or until you insert toothpick and it comes out clean
Cool for 5 min in pan, and then remove onto rack 
let cool and then cut into squares garnish in your favorite plate,
Add the chocolate frosting (i used Hershey's Chocolate syrup)
You can also use regular frosting just warm for about 5 min in microwave and pour over the cut cake pieces.
