Namak Paray (Crunchy Salt Crackers)

Namak Paray are ribbon style strips that are fried, and are so delicious as an appetizing snack, chaat's  or great with tea.If you are a savy mom like me you can save by making them at home.To make these crunchy salted crackers you only need a few ingredients.I often put them in a ziploc container so there nice and fresh when the guest arrive..Here is my quick recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour (maida)
1 tea spoon salt
1 tea spoon cumin seeds (zeera)
3 tbs cooking oil
2-3 tbs of water for mixing
Oil for frying

method:
add salt, cumin, oil, and water to all purpose flour and make dough (if the dough is still to dry you can add more water with a tbs.
Then split the dough in half, and roll out one portion at a time so its easier
Now with a sharp knife (i usually use a pizza cutter) cut into namak para shapes at 1 inch distance
Then again make cuts at 60 degree angle of same size
Now it will become in the form of namak paray
Apply same process to other half of dough and fry in desired oil until color becomes light golden brown
Serve with Noon time tea or just as a snack
