Keema Tainda Gosht

If you have a Husband or In'laws  that miss food from back home like Pakistan or India than this is a must try recipe, that will make there day. Keema Tainda Gosht consists of ground beef, with squash or zucchini. This is a traditional pakistani favorite.
You can enjoy this meal with white rice or your favorite chappati or naan.
Here is my quick recipe hope you will enjoy..
Ingredients: servings for 6-8

Prep: 15 min
cooking 30 min
1 pound ground beef
1 big onion
half cup olive oil (or any you may prefer)
2 big tomatoes
2 green chili's
2 tbs ginger garlic paste
1 tbs salt
1 tbs chili powder (optional)
1 tbs turmeric
1 tbs cumin
4 tainda (squash or zucchini cut in halfs)
Method:
Heat oil in pan add diced onions and fry until they become light golden brown
add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, peppers, salt, turmeric, and cumin stir fry for 5- 10 min
Now add beef stir cover and cook for about 15 min.
Add water consistently so it doesn't stick or burn
Keep frying for another 10 -15 min
Once you see the gravy release some oil, add in the squash or zucchini pieces
Stir and cook for 5-10 min
Add two cups water cover and cook for 10-15 min or until the squash is soft, and you see the gravy become nice and thick.
