Chicken Tikka with Basmati White Rice

This is a Dish that I make very common because its one of my hubby's favorites.
Its  a great combination.The warm aroma flavor of Basmati rice,mixing in with delicious Chicken Tikka   giving it that zing of flavors, "what can be better"

Ingredients you will need: for servings of 2
2 cups of white rice (i prefer basmati but can be any)
1 table spoon salt
3 cup water for boiling
1 tea spoon olive oil

For Chicken Tikka Curry:
1 pound chicken (whole,cut,breast)
2 table spoon olive oil
1 onion
2 tomatoes
2 green chili's
1tea spoon salt
1 tea spoon red chili powder
2 lemons(optional)
1 cup yogurt
1 tea spoon ginger garlic paste

Presoak 2 cups rice 15 Min  prior to cooking .Put in 3 cups of water,salt and olive oil into a  pot and bring to boil.Then add in your rice,stir and cover. Cook for about 15-20 min on low heat

Prepare the Chicken Tikka.In Pan or karahi.Heat oil throw in onion,and brown until light golden color, then add in your chicken,tomatoes,green chili,salt,chili powder and garlic paste.Cover and cook for about 15 min.In a separate bowl squeeze 2 lemons into your 1 cup yogurt, then add that to your chicken cook for another 5-10 min. Once gravy starts to release oil remove from heat..

Garnish and serve with your favorite salads or chutneys..
